COMMITMENT TO QUALITY AND SAFETY IS REWARDED BY USCG
Eurasia
is pleased to announce that all our managed Hong Kong flagged
vessels trading to US Waters have been awarded Qualship 21 certificates
by USCG. We understand that less than ten percent of all foreign
flagged ships that operate in the United States have earned
this designation, putting these vessels in an elite class. We
consider this as a remarkable accomplishment and recognition
of our commitment to Quality and Safety both ashore and afloat.
The vessels designated into this programme also enjoy certain
commercial benefits.

21
Qualship 21, Quality shipping for the 21st century is
an initiative implemented by the US Coast Guard to recognize
and reward the high-quality ships, and provide incentives
to encourage quality operations. |
| Following
stringent conditions apply for this prestigious reward:

Vessel should not be owned or operated by any Company
that has been associated with a substandard vessel detention
in US waters within the 24 months.
- Vessel must have completed a successful US PSC examination
within the previous 12 months and should not have been
detained or determined to be substandard in US waters
within the previous 36 months.
- Vessel must be classed by an organisation with a quality
track record.
- Vessel must be registered under quality flag that
has a detention ration in US waters not greater than
or equal to 1.0% and vessel's flag state must have at
laest 10 distinct arrivals in each of the previous 3
years. Flag state must have submitted thieir Self Assessment
of Flag state performance to the IMO and provided a
copy to USCG.
