Eurasia visualizes in depth the effect that sea transport can have on the environment. It is totally committed to protection of the environment and the prevention of pollution in all its activities ashore and at sea in its offices and vessels.

Company objectives and targets are directed where possible, towards the reduction of identified environmental impacts on the atmosphere and marine environment including attainment of “zero spills” on board Company’s ships, due to its activities.

All company personnel shall conduct their work in an environmentally friendly manner, targeting continual improvement in the company’s environmental performance. As a minimum all relevant national and international legislation, rules and regulations, industry guidelines and practices relevant to the environment shall be complied with. The Company also complies with any applicable legal requirements and to any other requirements to which it subscribes which relate to its environmental aspects. The Company’s annual review will identify new targets if relevant and review the environmental objectives and targets set in the previous year with a view to continually improve its performance.

The company recognizes the importance of incorporating environmental issues into everyday business decisions and activities, and monitoring appropriate technology and management practices which when addressed, if reasonably practical, will enhance its environmental performance. As far as practical, the Company will avoid using suppliers and contractors whose environmental standards conflict with the Company’s standards.

This Company Policy is communicated to all its employees ashore and afloat and also for those working on its behalf. It is also available to all interested parties such as the public, clients, share holders, regulators etc and the Company is committed to take action to exceed or at least meet their expectations.
