The quality journey of Eurasia started in 1993 when Eurasia voiced out among the ship management participants in the industry the need for an international ship management practice code. Eurasia took the initiative to document its criteria and standards as the basis for quality certification and continuous improvement. After which, Eurasia achieved the following industry standards, certification and awards:
  • ISO 9001:2000- May 2004
  • Lloyd's ISO 14001:1996- March 2003
  • ISM Certification by Lloyd's Register of Shipping, London and DNV, Norway in December 1997.
  • ISMA Certificate of Compliance by ISMA, London in July 1996.
  • Eurasia is one of the founder members of ISMA and received the ISMA Code Certificate in July 1996. The ISMA Code is the most comprehensive of all quality codes and includes specific standards for safety, environmental protection and business ethics, as well as corporate operating policies.
  • In October 1995, Company Safety and Environmental Protection (SEP) Management System Certificate by Det Norske Veritas ("DNV"), Norway.
